The Fall River has been fishing good all year. It will go through some real changes with the coming of Fall. Be prepared, it could happen over night or it could take a while. When this happens the fishing will change for the better. Right now we are still seeing the small Tan Baetis and if you watch hard you will see some PMDs. The Fall river is still fishing well despite the heat. Boat traffic has been light and the other day I was the only boat in the area I was fishing.The fish however are very boat shy right now due to the extremely clear water and lots of sun light. So, it is best to get on the upstream side of them and then let them settle down a little before fishing to them. There has been a good tan Baetis hatch going on mid-morning.
