I have spent very little time on this river since my last report, so I don’t have much to report on. Typically, August and early September can be tough on these river only because it is so hot out. Upper Sacramento River Fishing Report: August 2019
It's the dog-days of summer. Upper Sacramento River Fishing Report : July 2019
I like to fish the upper sac early and late in the day this time of year. As the sun gets over head on this river the fish get to be a little finicky.Deeper and shady areas seem to be the trick until the sun gets off the water. This is a great river for dry fly dropper technique.
