The Fall River has been fishing good all year. It will go through some real changes with the coming of Fall. Be prepared, it could happen over night or it could take a while. When this happens the fishing will change for the better. Right now we are still seeing the small Tan Baetis and if you watch hard you will see some PMDs. It has been a real good year for dry fly fishing so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will keep up.
Top Flies:
- Soft Hackle Pts
- Leaches
- Water Boatman
- Baetis Nymphs
- Black and Green Micro May Fly
- Callibaetis Spinners, and Duns have all been working well.

When writing a report, I only report on waters that I am current on. I have been asked about other waters and why I don’t talk about them. Although I have knowledge of them and may have fished them once or twice between reports, I may not feel I am the best source of information for that water at the time. You can always call or email me direct if I can’t help you I will certainly be able to send you to someone who can.
